On December 16th, President Song Yingdong led a delegation to visit the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") to research, and Wang Daquan, the Party Committee Secretary and Director of the Center, attended the event.

Song Yingdong and Wang Daquan, representing the university and the center respectively, signed the "Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the China Service Center for Scholarly Exchange and Harbin Engineering University".

Wang Daquan warmly welcomed Song Yingdong and his delegation, and provided a detailed introduction to the center's work in overseas study service. He stated that the center and the university have great potential for cooperation in areas such as international cooperative education, the construction of the "Study in China" and "Study Abroad" brands, serving the country through studying abroad, managing services for international students, and enhancing the international influence of Chinese higher education. The center is willing to leverage its strengths to jointly promote the innovative development of internationalization in Chinese higher education with the university.

Song Yingdong introduced the development history, educational characteristics, and the overall situation of the university's internationalization. He pointed out that Harbin Engineering University, adhering to the principle of "persistence in open education," gathers new momentum for talent cultivation. He hoped that the signing of the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement would serve as a new starting point to strengthen communication and collaboration with the center, further enhance the university's capabilities and levels in international education, and jointly promote the development of overseas study and international students coming to China, deeply serving the construction of a strong educational nation.

Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the international development of universities, study abroad, talent introduction, international students coming to China, and foreign-related education, and thoroughly discussed the prospects for cooperation in relevant fields.
