The Qingdao Innovation and Development Base adheres to the new development principle of "talent empowerment" and "talent resources are the primary resource." Focusing around the university's development goals and the Qingdao base's construction objectives, the Qingdao base follows the principle of "planned recruitment and purposeful cultivation," adopting the "master + team" model to attract leading talents and outstanding teams from academia and industry. Currently, focusing on directions such as marine technology and equipment, marine science, marine information and artificial intelligence, and marine new materials for ships, the Qingdao base has initially formed a teaching and research faculty team that is sufficiently large, has a reasonable academic structure, possesses excellent comprehensive qualities, and has great potential for development, meeting the needs of graduate teaching and training.
