The 2025 "Scholarly Campus" Reading Month series of events at the Qingdao Innovation and Development Base, together with the 25th session of the "Engineering and Technology Book Workshop" — the lecture titled "Senior Fellow Student Leads You Through a Book" — was successfully held, attracting over 300 faculty members and students. Yuan Rui, an alumnus from the Class of 2001, shared his creative journey, and the interactive segment received more than 30 questions. According to a survey, over 80 % of participants reported a heightened interest in reading, and nearly 70 % intend to increase their reading commitment. The event effectively supported the construction of a "Scholarly Campus," enriching the campus with a stronger humanistic atmosphere.
