Continuous ventilation supercavitating circulating water tunnel, a basic research platform, can achieve numerous basic researches on underwater high-speed motion vehicles, including fluid mechanics performance test of supercavitating torpedo, fluid mechanics performance test of underwater vehicle, scaled model ventilation observation experiment, test experiment on mechanical properties of the vehicle during acceleration process, the law of gas-liquid two-phase flow during underwater high-speed vehicle navigation, experiment on internal and external flow structure of cavitation, and verification of turbulence models under cavitation conditions. For cultivating talents in ship mechanics, ship marine and engineering, and other disciplines, we will rely on the continuous ventilation supercavitating circulating water tunnel to provide relevant undergraduate experimental teaching, including the basic comprehensive experiment of fluid mechanics, supercavitating propeller experiment, and cavitation two-phase flow experiment. This can not only enhance students' deep understanding of fluid mechanics and other basic knowledge, but also improve students' understanding of underwater vehicles and water tunnels, and lay a certain practical foundation for students.
